However, its long term climatic variability has allowed the origin and evolution of several resources, like water, soils and vegetation, which in turn, has sustained the old and permanent settlement of local ethnias. Agriculture, pastoralim and mining have been the main economic activities.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
